how to copy and paste statements from one model to another

The quickest way to copy information related to a noun (person, organization, etc.) from one model to another is to copy and paste the related statements.

Follow these steps:

1) Open the two models.

Let's call the model that contains the information you want to copy "model A" and the model where you want to store the information "model B".

During this process, keep both models open.

2) Bring model A to the front, by clicking its Model Window.

3) Find the noun you want to copy.

You can use the Model Window: Find Nouns Area to find the noun.

4) Double-click the noun in the Nouns List.

MindModel fills the Statements List with statements related to the noun.

5) Choose "Copy Statements in the List to the Clipboard" from the Statements Menu.

Leave model A open.

6) Bring model B to the front, by clicking its Model Window.

7) Choose "Paste Statements from the Clipboard to the List" from the Statements Menu.

MindModel pastes the statements you copied in step #5 (above) to model B.
