2.1.19 - Menus - File - Export Custom Column View Items to a Text File...
Exports the items from the View Items List of the current Custom Column View Window to a text file specified by the user.
The Custom Column View Window is also called the "View Window" or "CCVW" for short.
What is a view?
For more information on views, refer to the section: Windows: Custom Column View Window.
The following picture shows a typical view.

OK, so that's a view, but what are view items?
View items are the contents of the rows in the View Items List of the View Window.
There are 17 view items in the picture above. The first view item is for the organization "Acme Technology Corporation" and the last view item is for the organization "Superior Imaging".
The "Export View Items to a Text File" command exports the view items in the current View Window to a text file you specify.
Each column in the text file is separated by a tab character (ASCII 9).
Each row in the text file is separated by a carriage-return character (ASCII 13).
To use this command, simply open a view window (using the "Open Custom Column View of Model Window" command in the Windows Menu) and choose "Export View Items to a Text File".
MindModel will bring up a dialog asking you to name the text file.
Once you specify a name and location for the text file, MindModel will create the text file containing the view items.
What are some typical uses for this command?
This command is very useful for exporting information from MindModel for use with other applications.
