3.10 - Toolbar - Open View
This Toolbar icon:
allows you to open a Custom Column View Window of the current Model Window.
For information on the Custom Column View Window, refer to the section: Feature Guide: Windows: Custom Column View Window.
For information on the Model Window, refer to the section: Feature Guide: Windows: Model Window.
To use this command, first make sure that a Model Window is in front of all other windows in MindModel.
When you click any part of the toolbar icon, MindModel displays a drop-down menu containing the names of the custom column view templates (CCVT's) in your model.
For information on CCVT's, refer to the section: Key Concepts: custom column view template (CCVT).
NOTE: Clicking the icon or clicking the black triangle on the right side of the icon have the same effect.
For example, if you open the AcmeTech.min sample model, then click the "Open View" icon, MindModel displays a menu that looks like this:
Choosing one of the five CCVT's listed in the menu opens a Custom Column View Window based on the chosen CCVT.
The Custom Column View Window is one of MindModel's most powerful features. If you haven't taken the time to get to know it, we recommend you do so.
