1.6.1 - Windows - Combined Queries Window - CQW Scrolling Lists
The CQW Scrolling Lists are the two boxes at the top of the Combined Queries Window (CQW).
The CQW Scrolling Lists look like this:

The appearance of the lists depends on three factors:
1) Whether the CQW is set to find nouns or statements.
2) The queries that are saved in the current model.
3) Which queries are included in the current query.
1) Whether the CQW is set to find nouns or statements.
The "What type of queries do you want to combine?" area of the CQW allows you to set the CQW to find nouns or statements.
If you choose to find nouns, the left-hand CQW Scrolling List, pictured above, will be titled "Queries that Find Nouns".
If you choose to find statements, the left-hand CQW Scrolling List, pictured above, will be titled "Queries that Find Statements".
The CQW allows you to find nouns or statements, but not both. For that reason, the left-hand scrolling list allows you to choose from queries that find nouns, or queries that find statements.
2) The queries that are saved in the current model.
The CQW allows you to combine queries that are already saved in your model to create new, combined queries.
For that reason, the number and type of queries you have saved in your model will determine which queries appear in the left-hand list of the CQW.
There are two ways you can save queries in your model.
You can save simple queries using the "Save" button in the Simple Query Window (SQW).
You can save combined queries using the "Save" button in the Combined Queries Window (CQW).
3) Which queries are included in the current query.
The left-hand CQW Scrolling List contains the queries you can choose to include in your new combined query.
The right-hand CQW Scrolling List contains the queries you have already chosen to include in your new combined query.
For that reason, the contents of the two lists will depend on which queries you have and haven't chosen to include in your new combined query.
What's the purpose of the two lists?
The left-hand list contains queries you can include in your new combined query.
The right-hand list contains queries you have already included in your new combined query.
How do I move queries from list to list?
To move queries from list to list, you can use the "Add" and "Remove" buttons, or you can double-click queries in the lists.
Double-clicking a query moves that query from one list to the other.
