1.4 - Windows - Custom Column View Window - View Item Commands
The View Item Commands are the four buttons in the upper left-hand corner of the Custom Column View Window.
The buttons look like this:

1) Add
The "Add" button opens the "Add/Edit Noun Form", allowing you to add a new item to the View Items List.
The fields in the form are the same as the columns in the View Items List.
So, for example, if there are three columns in the View Items List: Name, Phone Number, and Email Address, there will be three fields (areas where you can type information) in the Add/Edit Noun Form: Name, Phone Number, and Email Address.
If you're entering a large number of records with similar types of information, you may find the "Add" View Item button more convenient than the Add/Edit Statement Wizard for data entry.
Remember that the Custom Column View Window (CCVW) is a view of a model. Any data you enter with the Add button is entered into the model. You will find the nouns and statements entered with the Add button when you search or browse the Model Window.
2) Edit
The "Edit" button opens the "Add/Edit Noun Form", allowing you to edit the selected item in the View Items List.
3) Delete
The "Delete" button deletes the selected item in the View Items List.
WARNING: The "Delete" button deletes the noun represented by the selected item in the View Items List. Once a noun is deleted, it is PERMANENTLY erased from your model, along with any statements related to that noun.
4) Find All
The "Find All" button fills the View Items List with items representing all the nouns of the current noun type in the model.
The current noun type is specified by the Custom Column View Template (CCVT) used to create the Custom Column View Window (CCVW).
So, for example, if the Custom Column View Window is a view of people, the "Find All" button fills the View Items List with items representing all the people in the model.
