marked noun

MindModel allows you to mark and unmark nouns to create a temporary group of nouns.

You might mark a few nouns because you know you'll want to find them soon.

Then you can use the "Windows: Model Window: Find Area: Find Marked Nouns" command to find those nouns.

The following MindModel commands also work with marked nouns:

Nouns Menu: Mark (Selected Noun)

Nouns Menu: Mark All Nouns in the List

Nouns Menu: Mark All Nouns in the Model

Nouns Menu: Unmark (Selected Noun)

Nouns Menu: Unmark All Nouns in the List

Nouns Menu: Unmark All Nouns in the Model

Nouns Menu: Delete Marked Nouns Permanently

MindModel Multi-User: The mark and unmark commands are for the whole model, not just for one user. So if one user marks a noun, all other users will see that noun as marked.

Mark and unmark commands are intended for creating temporary groups, since there is at most one set of marked nouns in a model at one time.

If you want to create more than one group of nouns, use collections instead.

For more information on collections, refer to the section: Key Concepts: collection.

Unmarked Nouns

Unmarked nouns are nouns that have not been marked, or nouns that have been unmarked using one of the following commands:

Nouns Menu: Unmark (Selected Noun)

Nouns Menu: Unmark All Nouns in the List

Nouns Menu: Unmark All Nouns in the Model
