object noun
The object noun is the noun that directly follows the verb in a statement.
For example, in the statement:
person: Kent Ortiz <knows how to use> software package: Adobe Photoshop
the noun "software package: Adobe Photoshop" is the object noun of the statement.
Note that a noun may the object noun in one statement, and the subject noun in another statement.
For example, in the statement:
software package: Adobe Photoshop <is a member of> collection: software I use every week
the noun "software package: Adobe Photoshop" is the subject noun of the statement.
So whether a noun is a subject noun or an object noun depends on its position in a specific statement. Being a subject or an object is not attribute of the noun itself.
