The subject noun type is the noun type of the subject noun of a statement.

For example, in the statement:

person: Kent Ortiz <knows how to use> software package: Adobe Photoshop

the noun "person: Kent Ortiz" is the subject noun of the statement.

The noun type of the subject noun ("person: Kent Ortiz") is person.

NOTE: A noun may the subject noun in one statement, and the object noun in another statement.

For example, in the statement:

person: Agnes Levine <is friends with> person: Kent Ortiz

the noun "person: Kent Ortiz" is the object noun of the statement.

So whether a noun is a subject noun or an object noun depends on its position in a specific statement.  Being a subject or an object is not attribute of the noun itself.
