Corporate Privacy Commitment
MindModel Corporation is committed to protecting your personal privacy. Our six principles of privacy stated below summarize and clarify that commitment.
1) Customer’s personal information
When you purchase a product from MindModel Corporation, we ask you for your name, address, telephone number, email address, etc. When you register your product, we ask for the same information of the person who will hold the license for this product. This person may or may not be the same person who purchased the product. All policies stated below apply to both the purchaser and the registrant of the product.
We will not give out your personal information to anyone, except where needed to deliver a product or service you ordered, or when you have explicitly requested to participate in an offer from MindModel Corporation or another company.
We may at some time in the future decide to allow our customers to choose (opt-in) to an offer from MindModel Corporation or another company. This will never be done without expressed explicit permission from you.
2) Customer’s financial information
We will not give out your credit or debit card number or checking account information to anyone at any time. We will do all we can to safeguard this information. It will only be used at the time of purchase.
3) Customer’s technical information
During the course of assisting you our Support Specialists may learn specific information regarding your computer. This information is typically what kind of operating system you are using, amount of memory, etc. This information is only gathered to resolve a support issue and is never divulged to anyone outside MindModel Corporation.
4) Purchase, use, or other history
During the course of doing business with you we may gather information on your purchases from us, contacts we have with you regarding support, etc. This information is only gathered so that we may serve you better, and is never divulged to anyone outside of MindModel Corporation.
We may at some point summarize this information and provide that to an outside entity. This would take the form of summaries only, never information that is specific to an individual or organization.
5) Internal handling of your information
Each and every employee of MindModel Corporation must abide by our privacy policy. Only authorized employees are permitted to have access to your personal information and such access is limited by need. For example, if you call our Support department with a concern or complaint, the representative is allowed to access only the personal information that he or she needs to address your concern. In addition, any company with which MindModel Corporation contracts to be our agent in conducting our business is required to adhere to confidentiality agreements to ensure that your information remains safe and secure.
All employees are required to acknowledge that they understand and will comply with this privacy policy. Employees who violate our privacy policies are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
6) Exceptions
We have only one exception to these policies: We will release specific information about you only when compelled to do so in order to comply with a valid legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena or court order.
